Outfit of the Week - Ivory Romper Gown

Outfit of the Week - Ivory Romper Gown25th September 2012

This outfit is such a clever idea as it is two outfits in one! Designed specifically for those who like the tradition of baby in a gown for the church ceremony, with a practical romper for the celebration afterwards, allowing baby to move and kick around more freely. The Ivory Romper Gown, made with high quality silk dupion, is hand-made in England and is exclusive to Sunday Best. The outfit comprises of a silk romper with a piped square collar, piping and buttons down the front and piping around the sleeves. The fully lined skirt of the gown is buttoned under the cumberband of the romper and can be easily detached following the ceremony. Also included is a matching sailor style hat.

The gown comes in sizes 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m and 12-18m.

These boy's laced booties, made of ivory silk, are a good match for the romper. All sizes are available from size 0 to size 5.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail and these ivory socks with a small cross embroidered on the ankle are a perfect accessory for any christening.

And how about this handsome shawl? It is edged in ivory silk dupion and has a cosy velour centre which is wonderfully soft and luxurious – just perfect for delicate, baby skin. The Little Darlings crest, which is embroidered onto one corner, adds the final finishing touch.
